A very good tour with the hosting clubs providing great local support and interaction with the tour group. Our thanks in particular to Jack Sauders (Hastings Rugby & Sports), Eddie Wilson (Napier OBM), Sue Baker (OB Marist Gisborne), Colin McCorkindale (Wairoa Celtic) and Mike Bird (Wairoa Celtic) for their respective involvements.

The 23 players came together quickly as a committed tour group and were accredit to themselves and the clubs they represented. The "Marist Culture" was evident within the tour group and was promoted to the communities and schools that were visited.

To win four games in seven days was a credit to all involved.
