During the 2024 NZ Marist Colts and Development Tour, the players and management were honored with a truly special gift—a stunning custom Zenith coin. This meaningful memento was made possible through the collaboration of former All Black, Hurricanes, and Wellington Lions player Dion Waller, alongside Adam Gilshnan and his team at Zenith Coins.

Dion Waller’s father, Alan Waller, is a legendary Marist figure from Taupo and was the coach of the 1994 NZ Marist Colts team,  Adam, a proud Marist man who played for the 1994 NZ Marist Colts alongside Darren Andrews from the West Club , found great significance in leading this project. Designing these coins for such a prestigious occasion was both a humbling and rewarding experience for him, and the overwhelming positive feedback has made it even more memorable.

Adam’s passion for his work at Zenith Coins, where he creates unique and meaningful memorabilia, stems from his deep connection to his roots at Greymouth Marist R.F.C. on the West Coast. These bespoke coins are more than just a beautiful way to mark special milestones like anniversaries or jubilees; they also serve a variety of purposes—from match coin tosses and player of the day awards to gifts for opposing captains, fundraising tools, and treasured keepsakes for sponsors, committee members, and life members.

Recently, Adam’s own Marist club commissioned coins to celebrate their 90th Jubilee, which were a resounding success. They were loved and highly sought after by everyone who received them.
